FEATURES

The Tifiz beacon allows you to geolocate at any time, in real time, a person or an object from a mobile phone, tablet or computer. Simply place the beacon in a pocket, bag or attach it to your jet ski.

They work without a SIM card . They require no installation or wiring. As soon as the beacon moves, it transmits the GPS position via the Sigfox* network. The transmission frequency is adjustable: 2 minutes, 10 minutes (default value), 12 hours and 24 hours.

They have an alert button: a simple press on it and the beacon sends an SMS with the GPS position to a predefined contact (parent, friend, etc.).

*What is Sigfox?
Very low bandwidth and very low consumption network, dedicated to connected objects, which is deployed in frequency bands available worldwide without a license. Sigfox allows objects to communicate with each other through small messages (up to 140 messages of 12 bytes per day) without using a mobile phone. How it works ?

• Create your account on www.mytifiz.com or via the My Tifiz mobile application.
• Choose the plan suited to your use: prepaid cards or subscription, from €3.40 including tax/month.
• Add, name and configure your Tifiz tag(s): Mobile phone number of the recipient of the geolocated alert SMS (only 1 possible); content of the text message; notification emails (2 emails possible); surveillance perimeter…
• Activate and test the connection of your beacon with the Sigfox network by pressing the button.

What do I need?

A smartphone (IOS or Android) or a computer or tablet with an Internet connection or even a simple mobile phone capable of receiving an SMS (in this case, an alert alone without location).
