LOCTITE® 243 is a medium-strength, general-purpose threadlocker. It secures and seals bolts, nuts, and studs to prevent loosening due to vibration. The product is suitable for all metals, including passive substrates (e.g., stainless steel, aluminum, plated surfaces). It is designed to tolerate light contamination from industrial oils (e.g., engine oil, rust-preventing solutions, or cutting fluids).

Prevents loosening of assemblies under vibration stress such as pump screws, gearbox housings or presses.
Suitable for all metals, including passive substrates (e.g., stainless steel, aluminum, plated surfaces).
Designed to tolerate light contamination from industrial oils (e.g. engine oil, rust prevention solutions or cutting fluids).
Allows disassembly with hand tools for maintenance.
