The engine breather kit is easy to install and prevents crankcase vapors and oil vapors from entering your Yamaha engine's air intake. Increases horsepower by eliminating the engine's need to burn relatively incombustible oil.

Also improves intercooler efficiency by preventing oil sludge coating that reduces thermal efficiency. Excess oil vapor is routed to our translucent catch can where it condenses and collects for occasional draining via an integrated petcock valve.

Features a non-slip reservoir foam to control oil movement. The kit includes a breather filter and aluminum mounting bracket along with all necessary hardware and installation instructions.

Use and maintenance:
The engine oil level should be at or just below the halfway mark on the dipstick.
Follow the proper engine oil level inspection procedure outlined in your owner's manual.
Check and empty the drain pan as needed.
Do not use harsh chemicals to clean the Catch Can (acetone, carburetor cleaner, brake cleaner, etc.).
