Next generation wideband oxygen sensor controller from PLX with intelligent health monitoring technology and current for improved sensor performance. The new Gen4 Wideband AFR uses the next generation of Bosch wideband air/fuel ratio sensor technology. Gen4 is faster, more precise, more durable and consumes less power than Gen3. The Gen4 also uses PLX Devices' innovative new smart health monitoring technology, where the oxygen sensor is meticulously monitored every 2 mS (488 times per second) to achieve optimal performance, accuracy and response time . Pair the SM/AFR with the patented DM-6 updated MultiGauge touchscreen, battery voltage is displayed from 9V to 20V, sensor life is displayed from 0 to 100%. The reaction time of the oxygen sensor is displayed from 10 mS/1000 mS on the bright, high-contrast OLED display.

The PLX Wideband AFR (UEGO) combines a precise, fast-response wideband AFR (Air Fuel Ratio) controller with a Bosch LSU4.9 wideband oxygen sensor. The wideband controller (SM-AFR) works with gasoline, biodiesel, ethanol, methanol, E85, LPG and CNG. It includes two analog outputs (wideband 0-5V and narrowband 0-1V) for interfacing with third-party devices and one digital serial output for interfacing with the DM-6 gauge and other multiple gauges. The wideband analog output is ideal for interfacing with aftermarket ECUs and data loggers. The narrow band output is ideal for replacement of the original narrow band oxygen sensor where the simulated narrow band analog output is fed back into your ECU to make it work as if the narrow band oxygen sensor of original was still installed when running the PLX broadband setup. All three outputs can be used simultaneously. Additional features include advanced soft start technology that extends oxygen sensor life.
