Darton has designed a superior patented solution (Patent No. 6,799,541) using a uniquely designed cylinder sleeve that, when interlocked and interlocked, creates a solid bridge of sleeve flanges held in tension, reinforcing the upper deck area and allowing for individual replacement with what we call the Modular Integrated Platform (MID). The innovative "Flat-Lock" flange design locks the sleeves, reinforcement block and protective head gasket into place.
